"Today, That Promise Was Kept..."

On November 11th 2018 at 11:30AM, the Wall Township PBA Civic Association unveiled and dedicated the Rockafeller Memorial, at the Wall Township Police Headquarters, located at 2700 Allaire Rd, Wall, NJ 07719.

Since this fundraising campaign began in March of 2018, we have raised over $217,000. We will continue to accept donations through the end of 2018. Remaining funds will be used for Veteran programs and charities, locally and nationally throughout 2019 and beyond.

Because of generous donations this memorial will ensure that the legacy of all WWII Veterans remain in our hearts and minds forever. It was their duty to serve, it is our duty to remember.

Major General Harry J. Rockafeller Memorial Fund

Honoring a WWII Hero

The Wall Township PBA Civic Association 501c3 (EIN 80-0783738) created the Rockafeller Memorial Fund to raise money through donations to dedicate a 9-foot bronze statue of WWII Veteran Harry Rockafeller. Harry was a long time resident who lived in Wall Township for over 70 years.

It is our goal to honor and forever remember a true warrior of the Greatest Generation. Everyday, WWII Veterans are passing away and it is our duty to ensure that we and future generations remember their courage, bravery, and sacrifice. Harry Rockafeller passed away on August 8th, 2017 at 100 years of age. We believe that this statue will honor his memory and honor the memory of all our WWII Veterans.
